So I never really got too close to dolls (other than stuffed animals, which I was pretty sure couldn't melt)
I did [still do] however enjoy the company of several stuffed animals, which I was pretty sure couldn't melt. (Except for Lance's Monkey fur in the dryer!)
See I never wanted anything to do with hard plastic dolls.
The only Doll I was REALLY attatched to was soft bodied and her head was kind of rubbery. Her name was Drowsy. She talked when you pulled her string. I do remember that I didn't like the crying noise she made, but other than that I loved her and took her around everywhere. My parents used to complain or tease about her unruly hair. Unfortunately I apparently (although I cant imagine it and dont remember it) let my mom give them away or sell them at a yard sale. So she and my Raggedy Anne moved on.
I always missed them. Later after I got a computer and found ebay I had to go looking for them again. I found the same model doll of Drowsy And Raggedy Ann that I had as a child. My friend Chris bought me Drowsy for my birthday from ebay and I after many attempts won Ann from ebay. (I had to buy several before I found the exact one) But even after I found the exact twins of both these childhood dolls and got them home, they were not the same.

Oooooo... I LOVE this!!! I've always had a strange fascination w/ dolls and their creepiness. I still have my original Raggedy Ann (1972?), nude with no hair of course, and I did have Baby Drowsy, but lost her along the way:( She was blonde & my best friend had the latina version! Anyway, keep up the good work!
ahhha a shaved nudist raggedy ann... kinky!
